About Admissions

First Time in College Students: 

Application Procedure for Freshman Admission 蓝莓视频 welcomes freshmen, whether you are a recent high school graduate or a person who has been working for a period of time after graduating from high school. 

Students seeking undergraduate admission to 蓝莓视频 for the first time should complete the application for undergraduate admission, which is available online at 鈥痮r from the Office of Admissions. In order to be accepted for admission in 蓝莓视频, a prospective applicant must have a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate and have taken either the SAT or ACT (scores only matter in terms of scholarships, but are required to have been taken to be admitted).  

To apply for admission, please submit all the following: 

  • A completed  
  • Copies of your SAT and/or ACT scores 
  • An official high school transcript or GED score (minimum GPA of at least a 2.5)  

Students with a 2.5 GPA or higher will be offered Unconditional Admission. Unconditional admission usually will be granted to applicants who, based on a holistic review of application materials, show strong potential for academic success in college-level work. Unconditionally Admitted students are considered as fully admitted students.  

The College also grants conditional admission to applicants who do not clearly meet the requirements (under a 2.5 GPA) for unconditional admission, but who demonstrate the potential to successfully complete degree requirements at 蓝莓视频. Students admitted conditionally are required to attend the Summer Bridge Program, which is an academic enrichment program designed to give students a 鈥渏umpstart鈥 on the academic career at the College. Any student offered conditional admission must pass all the courses offered during the Summer Bridge. Once the student has successfully completed the Summer Bridge program, their admission will move to Unconditional status for the subsequent term.  

Digital transcripts must be sent directly from home school or from an agency such as Parchment, Clearinghouse, or Scribbs. 

Priority Deadline: Official Transcripts received by August 1st for the Fall and January 1st for the Spring. Submission of Application Inquiries and applications for admission should be made to the Office of Admissions, 蓝莓视频, 1029 Crawford Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730. You may also make inquiries online by visiting   

Once you complete the application for admission to 蓝莓视频, you are able to check the status of your application by going to the Student Services Portal and entering the user ID and password that is emailed to you once you have completed the鈥痑pplication. 

Readmission to 蓝莓视频 

A student who has not attended 蓝莓视频 as a student for two consecutive terms and wishes to reenter must be readmitted to 蓝莓视频 through the Office of Admissions. Readmitted students must meet the graduation requirements in the current catalog for their program unless an exception is recommended and approved by the Vice President for Academic Services/Academic Dean. A student who is expelled or suspended for disciplinary reasons may re-apply for admission only after the period of suspension has ended and any stated conditions have been satisfied. A student who withdraws for more than a semester may reapply for admission. A student who has been suspended for poor academic performance may re-apply for admission after one semester has elapsed. A student who withdraws may re-apply after one semester has elapsed.

International Students  

蓝莓视频 welcomes inquiries from international students. International students seeking admission to 蓝莓视频 must satisfy all admission requirements. To apply for admission, please submit all of the following:  

  • A completed  
  • Official transcripts, certificates and/or final secondary school records, official university transcripts (if applicable), official translations of transcripts if the document is in another language.  
  • Evidence of their ability to read, write, and speak the English language, such as scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Test Systems (IELTS)  
  • An I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility)  
  • A Declaration and Certificate of Finances signed by the student鈥檚 sponsor(s) and at least one year of tuition fees  
  • A Health Certificate  

蓝莓视频 does not offer financial aid for international students. An I-20 form (Certificate of Eligibility) is not issued until the applicant (1) has been accepted by the Office of Admissions, and (2) has submitted a financial statement indicating how tuition and fees will be paid while attending 蓝莓视频 

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security rules require that all persons in the category of 鈥渘onimmigrant F-1 foreign students鈥 pursue a full course of study. This rule means that students must register for a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours. Failure to observe these requirements will cause students to be ineligible to receive the I-20 form to support their nonimmigrant status.  

Transfer Students  

蓝莓视频 welcomes transfer students. To apply for admission, please submit all of the following:  

  • A completed  
  • An official high school transcript or GED score  
  • Official transcripts from all colleges previously attended.  
  • 蓝莓视频 will only accept general education courses as transfer credits. Nursing courses from other programs are not transferrable into the Nursing curriculum.  
  • Pre-Nursing transfer students must have a cumulative G.P.A. requirement of 2.5 at the college level. (For more information regarding admission to 蓝莓视频鈥檚 Nursing program please visit our catalog).

  • Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid form (FAFSA)
  • Submit copies of parent鈥檚 and student鈥檚 income tax transcript

International Students

First-Year International Admission Requirements

To apply, applicants must submit聽础尝尝听documents before their application is considered complete and ready for review.

Required Application Documents:
  • An online application
  • Official Transcripts (Graduate of a Foreign/Non-U.S. High School): Applicants who attended high schools outside of the United States must have their transcripts evaluated via .
  • Official Transcripts (Graduate of a U.S. High School): Applicants who have attended high school in the United States must submit official copies of their high school transcripts. Transcripts must be sent directly from the applicant鈥檚 high school through a secure online service (Parchment, Naviance, National Student Clearinghouse, eScript, etc.) or via mail in a sealed envelope to:

  • Certificate of Finance: Applicants must demonstrate they have sufficient funds to pay for tuition costs and living expenses for at least 1 year at 蓝莓视频. Applicants living off-campus will need to provide their monthly rental amounts. To meet this requirement, applicants must submit a bank statement, certificate of deposit, scholarship award letter, or a combination of the three. **An Affidavit of Support needs to be attached to any statement that is not in the applicant鈥檚 name. Please note that both the Affidavit of Support and any necessary financial statements must be translated into English.**
  • Copy of Passport ID Page: A clear photocopy of your passport should be submitted directly to the Office of Admissions at admissions@clintoncollege.edu.

This means that students must register for a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours. Any modification of this requirement that results in a course load of less than this minimum must be authorized by the Registrar. Failure to observe these requirements will cause students to be ineligible to receive the I-20 form to support their non-immigrant status.

Prior to admission, all international students must furnish a copy of his/her background record even if a criminal history does not exist.
